Well, I passed my finals this week, and bought donuts for everyone at work. 30 donuts. Raspberry, strawberry, apple, chocolate, sugar, iced. And then people started saying "no thanks, I don't like them" "I’m on a diet" "I’ve just had dinner” So all afternoon, I sat surrounded by donuts. And no matter what I said, I couldn't get rid of these donuts. Well, I decided that this had to stop. It was time for desperate measures. So I took a picture of myself eating a donut, and stuck it to my computer monitor! NOT a flattering picture either! And every time I felt myself weakening and reaching for a donut, I just looked at this picture........
That's always been my problem with food; no will power. I just can't say NO. Well, I hope I have finally conquered it (well, with donuts anyway!). That was my downfall the last time I did Weight Watchers. I couldn't say NO. And while it was embarrassing for me to have everyone in the office see it, the picture served the purpose.
How many donuts did I eat?? 1. After all, it's better to have a little of something and conquer it, than deny yourself and binge later! Now, if I can just beat the chocolate devil...........
